On Friday, April 18, NBC is airing a rerun of Season 31’s report on the death of Susan Winters, a Nevada mother and attorney who was found dead in her home in 2015.
“A family begins a relentless pursuit of justice after the death of Nevada attorney Susan Winters is ruled a suicide,” the episode’s synopsis reads. “Correspondent Josh Mankiewicz speaks to Susan’s parents about the seven-year case and their efforts to push back against the criminal justice system.”
For the episode, Mankiewicz sat down with Susan’s parents, Danny and Avis Winters, as well as criminal defense attorney Tony Sgro, private investigators, and more key figures.
Dateline’s Season 31 episode — “A Cool Desert Morning” — airs on Friday, April 18, at 9/8c on NBC.

NBC will air Season 32’s episode “Secrets in Pleasant Prairie” — reported by Andrea Canning from Kenosha, Wisconsin — on Saturday, April 19, at 9/8c.
“The investigation into the poisoning death of Wisconsin mother-of-two Julie Jensen takes a surprising turn when detectives learn that Julie wrote a letter just days before her death pointing to a possible suspect,” the episode’s synopsis reads.
NBC will air also another episode from Dateline Season 32 — “Part of the Plan” — on Sunday, April 20 at 10:01/9:01c. Reported by Keith Morrison, the episode investigates the 2010 murder of Nathan Paet.
“When United States Air Force Airman Nathan Paet is shot multiple times inside his garage, a trail of clues leads Las Vegas detectives to a secret love affair and a murderous plan,” the episode’s logline reads.
