Kristen Bell Singing "I Might Meet a Dog Today" Will Have You Bouncing Out of Bed
Jimmy Fallon and the SAG Awards Host sang about their love for dogs in this Tonight Show video.
Kristen Bell hosted the 2025 SAG Awards on Sunday, February 23, and the Nobody Wants This star kicked off the show by singing a hilarious parody of the Frozen hit, "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?," called "Do You Want to Be an Actor?" It's always a treat when Bell flexes her vocal talent — and this dog lovers' duet with Jimmy Fallon is a prime example.
In "I Might Meet a Dog Today," Bell and Fallon performed a split-screen duet in June 2021. As you might guess from the title, the original number is all about their love for their furry friends.
The music video opens with Bell lamenting how hard it is sometimes to get out of bed in the morning. But then she remembers "something worth living for": Puppers.
"I throw my covers off and run out the door, 'Cause I might meet a dog today," Bell sings, as she plays a ukulele while out for a walk in her neighborhood. "I might see a dog and be like, 'Hey!'"

It isn't long before Bell runs into her first furry friend, an adorable white dog, who she kneels down and scratches. "When I pet the dog, I'm gonna say... 'Excuse me, sir. Are you a good boy?'" she sings as she pets the loving pooch. Everything is calm and lovely for Bell, but that's not the case for Fallon.
When the number switches to feature The Tonight Show Host, he's being treated by paramedics after being hit by a bus. Though they urge him to go to the hospital, Fallon pleads to be taken "to the dog park instead."
Bell and Fallon join together to sing about how "you can meet a dog almost anywhere," listing off places like a cookout, a renaissance fair, walking in the woods, or even Dick's Sporting Goods.
Though the song takes a darkly comic turn when Fallon dognaps a Chihuahua, running away with it without thinking things through.
"I think I'm making bad decisions. I got hit by a bus this morning," Fallon tells a horrified Bell, as she asks, "Oh, my God. Did you go to the hospital?"
"No. I went to the dog park," replies Fallon.

"Oh. Cool. I would have done the same," Bell confesses.
The duo's canine chorus is interrupted by police sirens, prompting Fallon to put down the Chihuahua and yell, "Just leave the dog! Leave it!" — as they both flee the crime scene.
