Gwen Stefani's Brother, Eric, Looks So Cool Rocking Her Signature Platinum Hair

Throwback to their No Doubt/family reunion in Vegas!

By Elizabeth Logan

There is no doubt that these two are family.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

The Voice Coach alum Gwen Stefani got a visit from her brother and former bandmate, Eric, at her Vegas show back in 2021, and you can totally see the resemblance. Though the siblings might be natural brunettes, Stefani's signature platinum hue in the photo, below, perfectly matches Eric's shock of white. Coolest family ever.

Gwen Stefani's brother, Eric, visited her in Vegas in 2021

"my brother (hero) @ericstefanimation came to #Vegas #justagirl !! love u EMS gx" Stefani captioned her Instagram post of herself and her brother, Eric Matthew Stefani, smiling backstage. The photo was taken in 2021, during the singer's Just A Girl residency at Planet Hollywood. So sweet how Stefani calls her big bro her hero.

As you may have gleaned from his handle, Eric isn't just a rocker but also an animator, with credits on shows including Rugrats, The Simpsons, and A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. Stefani once told Seth Meyers that Eric was the one who "taught me everything I know" about music, adding, "My brother is, like, my biggest hero...He's an amazing artist and talent" (per TODAY).

Gwen Stefani's signature red lip

One part of his sister's style Eric doesn't copy is her signature red lipstick, which is just as much a part of her look as her blonde hair. But that, too, comes from a family member. "My grandma gave me a bunch of [lipstick] colors in my Christmas stocking when I was 18," Stefani told InStyle Magazine in 2017. "I tried one on in my car and saw it in the rearview mirror. I remember loving how it made me feel: daring."

"Growing up in Anaheim, so close to Hollywood, I've always been obsessed with their silver-screen looks," Stefani continued "I definitely adapted that into my own [style] from a very young age. I'd plaster posters of Marilyn Monroe on my bedroom walls and spend hours trying to replicate her hair and makeup."

A No Doubt reunion is happening this year

The band will headline the Coachella music festival in 2024, marking the first time they've played together live in nearly 10 years. The iconic ska band released their self-titled debut album in 1992, followed by The Beacon Street Collection and the smash hitTragic Kingdom, both in 1995. Return of Saturn was released in 2000, followed by Rock Steady in 2001, and finally Push and Shove in 2012.
