Only one player gets the honor of becoming the Banker's final opponent and taking home the season's collective earnings, and with this fearsome six solidified, it's truly anyone's game.
Who is in the Final Six on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2?
The lucky six continuing their journey toward DONDI victory are Phillip Solomon, Alexis Lete, Courtney Kim (C.K.), Parvati Shallow, Dickson Wong, and David Genat. Who will become Season 2's champion? Only time will tell, but with the numbers dwindling, strong alliances are certainly helpful.
"The Family" alliance has been dominating DONDI Season 2
"I'm in a tough spot because the numbers are not on my side right now, and it sucks," Lete said during the latest DONDI episode, highlighting the group's heightened need for allies during this pressing point in the game. Meanwhile, David and Parvati were riding high on feeling like the King and Queen of Deal or No Deal Island, and their confidence wasn't misplaced.
David is the "Golden God" of Survivor: Australia, and better yet, no one except Parvati knows of his bursting reality television portfolio. Meanwhile, Parvati has dominated Survivor as a four-time castaway and hunted down Faithful on The Traitors, so she's willing to keep David's secret. Sticking to their roots, they wasted no time forming "The Family" alliance alongside their Banker's Island "son" Dickson.
Naturally, their rivals want to see The Family out of the game, but that's been easier desired than done. After the Survivor stars dominated the latest Excursion, The Family remains intact as the game continues. But as we know, relying on alliances can't win a game like Deal or No Deal Island. Just one wrong move can send any hopeful winner packing, so it's too early to make any definitive calls or for anyone to get comfortable.
The Family may hold the numbers, but a potent mix of luck and strategy is paramount to surviving this game. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, David commended two of his Final Six rivals for their impressive gameplay on Banker's Island.
"Honestly, C.K. was impressive to me strategy-wise," David explained. "I think one of the things that people have when they're playing for the first time, they're a little bit scared to do something... But C.K., to her credit, was really out doing stuff, and you've already seen she's going in there and being like, 'Hey, you should split these cases,' or 'Hey, you should do that.'"
"And then obviously Phillip as well. I feel like Phillip really had a lot of alliances going," David revealed. "We see a lot of him with Parv, but I was very tight with Phillip. Lete was very tight with Phillip, and he had that kind of cross relationship between the domes... Phillip was the one that was from his dome who probably had the best relationships with me, with the girls from the other dome. He was playing really well."
