Host Joe Manganiello teased that the players would learn the identity behind the "clever, confident, and influential" Banker pulling the strings during the Season 2 competition. As the Season 2 players reunited at Temple in honor of David's high-stakes final game, they were perched to learn who exactly the Golden God of Australian Survivor would be duking it out against. Who was the Banker behind all that island mayhem?

"They are going to cheer you on, but as you know, there's one person here who you won't get moral support from tonight," Manganiello told David, reminding the Temple of the fearsome opponent awaiting their game. "It is time to meet the face behind the game, the mastermind behind the madness, the Queen of the competition: the Banker."

"It has been a thrill watching you guys play the game that I so carefully crafted," Chrissy told the Temple. "But David, you were actually not the only one who made some power moves to get here.

"Long before I was Chrissy the Banker, I was actually Christine, base model number 12," Chrissy revealed, reminding them of her Deal or No Deal origins with a sweet photo from her briefcase-opening days. "As you can see, back then, I was just part of the game. But now, I am the game."

David's Deal or No Deal game had Banker Chrissy crashing out

After managing to keep the $12 million case by the end of round four, Chrissy started getting peeved with David's impressive performance.

"David, I have a question for you: How much money did you win on Australian Survivor?"

"500K," David told her.

"I need you out of this game, so I'm gonna give you an offer that is more than three times the amount you made on Survivor — $1,523,000," she countered.

The historic offer would have satiated several of David's colleagues as the biggest Banker offer in the show's history, but David remained distracted. The $12 million case was still in, and the odds were still in his favor. After choosing No Deal and playing on, Chrissy struggled to hold back her annoyance.

Following a successful fifth round, Chrissy was forced to increase her offer to $1,980,000, again creating a stir for everyone at Temple. Would David finally take the money — it was nearly $2 million! But David was fixated on the numbers, and they still looked good. After turning down the deal again, Chrissy was forced to increase her offer to $2,900,000, which is when David started really contemplating his odds. As the entirety of Temple urged David to take the money and Chrissy clasped her hands, David shocked everyone by telling Chrissy, "No Deal."

"He's a man possessed," La Shell Wooten exclaimed.

It was nail-biting watching David have to choose another case after that ballsy move, with everyone watching with bated breath to see if David selected one of the three low-value cases or the $12 million case. After David "gave up his game to God" and successfully chose a low case, Chrissy was literally on her hands and knees, begging for David's mercy.

"David, we're going to have a real heart-to-heart, just me and you," Chrissy said, inspiring David to jump up onto the edge of her podium so they could have a serious chat. Chrissy crafted an offer inspired by his family — $3,870,018 — but would David take it? There was only one round after this, and David admitted it was a life-changing sum. Still, David remained placated by the numbers.

"No Deal," David said, making the Temple erupt with shock. As Chrissy collapsed on the ground with her head in her hands, it was clear that she'd met a formidable opponent. With two cases left on the board, David seemed to be going all the way to the Deal or No Deal end game. After successfully choosing yet another low-value case, the Banker was compelled to pony up more money than ever for David's final offer.

"This is by far the highest offer in Deal or No Deal history," Chrissy said after commending David for his game. "$5,800,000."

"That is an absolute stack of money, 5.8," David marveled while joking that the $12 million was still staring at him in the face. So what would it be: Deal or No Deal?

"I know where that money is, but I've also seen hubris take out a lot of people," David told the Temple. "However, I think in this case, Deal."

Despite putting the Banker through the wringer with his maniacal strategy, Chrissy was keen to congratulate David on his incredible game.
