Chance the Rapper's Password Game Has Us Wondering If He's Psychic

The Voice Coach's guessing skills were scary-good in this round of spooky words from the March 19 Password.

By Christopher Rudolph

Better leave the lights on, because things are getting spooky on this week's Password.

How to Watch

Watch Password Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock

In the March 19 episode of the classic game show reboot, The Tonight Show Host Jimmy Fallon faces off against The Voice Coach Chance the Rapper, as their teams guess passwords inspired by scary movies.

The first word is "possessed" — which leads to Fallon doing his best Exorcist impression. Terrifying clown Pennywise is the password in the second round, and Fallon's team ultimately face their fears and correctly guess the character from Stephen King's It.

It was time to break out the Ouija board for the fourth round, as the password was "séance."

After Chance's teammate throws out the (confusing!) clue of "Beyoncé," it's over to Jimmy's teammate who says "summon," but The Tonight Show Host doesn't get it.

Back over to Chance's team: His partner yells "fiancé," which moves Chance to show off his psychic skills and somehow correctly guess "séance."

"No freaking way!" shouted Host Keke Palmer, who could not believe that Chance was able to get to "séance" from "Beyoncé."

"I knew that it rhymed," Chance said, trying to explain his thought process, after his teammate's first two guesses.

"Wow! Impressive," Keke added. Even Jimmy had to admit, "Well done," to his opponent.
