Blake Shelton Caught the Biggest Fish on Adorable Boat Date with Gwen Stefani
The Voice Coaches take full advantage of their Oklahoma ranch.
As it turns out, bringing your wife along while fishing gives you pretty good luck.
The Voice's Blake Shelton learned this very important lesson firsthand over the weekend. In a March 30 Instagram post, Gwen Stefani shared a video of herself and Shelton enjoying some much-needed downtime together on the lake. Shelton even reeled in an impressive large-mouthed bass that he proudly showed off to the camera before releasing it back into the water. ("Wow, this is a large mouth," Stefani quipped.)
"Singer, songwriter, angler ✨🎣 gx," the "Hollaback Girl" singer wrote in a caption.
Set to Stefani's 2024 track "Reminders," the adorable video serves as a snapshot into the laid-back life the two enjoy when they're back at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch. It's a far cry from the lives they lead in Los Angeles and other cities when they're out on the road, and fans clearly love seeing the couple making such wonderful memories together!

"You both are truly a match made in heaven! So happy to see you guys living your best life and having fun 🥰🎣❤️," one fan commented.
It's time to add this fishing extradition into their catalog of cute dates lately — they've certainly had many. The only thing missing from this experience is Stefani's kids tagging along again and catching some fish of their own.
Blake Shelton speaks about his love of the great outdoors
Despite being one of the world's most popular and well-respected country musicians, the 48-year-old is driven by his love for hunting and fishing. The hobbies are healthy addictions that Shelton can't get enough of! In a February 2025 interview with Hook & Barrel, he described how much he loves being outdoors.
"Hunting and fishing is one of those things I'm never going to master," Shelton explained. "I'm never gonna dominate the hunting and fishing world, and 99.9% of the time I'm gonna lose. I'm gonna fail. And that's what keeps me hooked."
(No pun intended — we think.)
"There's a love to the mystery of not knowing what's out there, not knowing what fish might be under that log," Shelton continued. "If I don't know what's there, it could be the next world record!"
Balancing a successful music career and a passion for the great outdoors hasn't been a problem for the winningest Coach in The Voice's long history. Shelton realized at a young age that his interests could easily coincide!
"I was the guy that basically had already figured out what makes me happy by the time I was 14 years old: It's country music and fishing and hunting," he says. "I remember going 'Oh my God! You can be a country singer and hunt and fish? Those are my two things!'"
