Looks like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani had a blast while performing at the 2022 Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony. In early December, the Voice Coaches both took to their official Instagram accounts to share some videos.
The first video posted on Shelton’s page showed a montage of him performing and playing his guitar on the stage at the Rockefeller Tree Lighting. He also gave us some behind-the-scenes clips of himself backstage while his cover of “Up on the Housetop” played in the background. In one adorable moment, he's seen encouraging Stefani to dance on stage while she wore a festive green dress. “Merry Christmas, everybody!” he said to the audience with enthusiasm.
“Nothing like the annual tree lighting to get you in the holiday spirit!!!! 🎅🏼 -Team BS #RockCenterXmas #holidaymusic #Cheersitschristmas” he captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Stefani’s own post was nothing short of epic. Her cover of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” played while we got a look of her backup dancers preparing for the show during the daytime. Then, in a sudden shift, the stage was all set up with the lighting and band galore for the performance. In one shot, Stefani rocked a shimmery silvery asymmetrical ballgown while a row of Santas danced behind her.
“it’s officially december! did u see this one during the annual #RockCenterXmas tree lighting last night? 🎅🏻” she captioned before crediting her talented styling team.
