When Do AGT Live Shows Begin?
It is officially America's Got Talent season!
America's Got Talent Season 17 is officially here.
As fans know by now, the show begins with a sequence of Auditions where Contestants perform for Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel. Contestants must receive at least three approvals from the Judges to proceed to the next round. Each Judge (plus AGT Host Terry Crews) also has the opportunity to press the coveted Golden Buzzer, which pushes an Act directly to the Live Shows.
So, when do those AGT Live Shows start? NBC Insider has the details. Read on.
When do the AGT live shows start?
AGT Live Shows will begin on August 9, with episodes airing weekly on Tuesday nights and the result episodes airing Wednesday nights. In order to make it to the Live Shows, Contestants must proceed past the Auditions and Judges' Cuts rounds.
"Always be as prepared as you can be," AGT winner Shin Lim told NBC Insider when asked about the advice he'd give to future Contestants. "The worst thing you can do, especially if you’re broadcasting your talent to the world, is to not be prepared. When you’re not prepared, then other factors come in that mess you up. There's music, there’s timing. 'Get the right shot for this camera angle,' or, 'Look at this camera, at that angle,' so they can show you well. If you’re not prepared with your own act, you can’t focus on the little things, which really do matter for TV. "
How to vote during the Season 17 AGT Live Shows
Per NBC, "Voting opens at the start of the show Tuesdays and closes at 7 a.m. ET on Wednesdays. Voting isn’t counted during re-airings of the show."
