Adam Levine Still Playfully “Bitches About” This Voice Artist Not Being on His Team
Adam Levine is feeling just a little bit salty!
Adam Levine can carry a tune...and a grudge. The Maroon 5 frontman and returning The Voice Coach is still grumbling about a certain Artist not joining Team Adam after the Season 27 Blind Auditions, and it sounds like he's driving the other Coaches crazy about it.
Why Adam Levine didn't get one of his favorite Artists for The Voice Season 27
During the last night of Knockouts, Team Legend Artists Nell Simmons and Renzo went head-to-head, and Levine got personal while giving feedback. He praised Simmons' performance, then added, "Unfortunately, you were going up against Renzo." Renzo, apparently, is one of Levine's favorite Artists in the competition. He recalled of the Blind Auditions, "I got blocked by John Legend. I’ve been regretting it and bitching about it ever since."
"True," Coach Kelsea Ballerini added immediately. Coach Michael Bublé chimed in, "There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t hear Adam going 'Renzo! He woulda been mine!' Literally ,he’ll be eating at catering and go, 'Renzo!!'"
Unashamed, Levine raised his hand to cop to the complaints and continued praising the singer, telling him, "I would be shocked if you didn’t make it all the way to the end of this thing."

Adam Levine was "down bad" for Renzo
During Renzo's Blind Audition, Legend was the first to turn his chair, followed by Bublé, then Levine, who was so into it he stood up. But it was Ballerini who told Levine that he was out of the running. "You got blocked!" she said. “I did what I had to do. I just wanted to welcome you back," Legend said. "I had to do this for old times' sake.” Levine slumped over his chair, and Ballerini observed, "He's down bad."

If he's not whining about a Block, Levine is complaining about his chair. After years in the red chair now occupied by John Legend, Levine now sits in the spot that formerly belonged to his frenemy Blake Shelton. And boy, does he have some words about it. "I miss Blake," he commented in an earlier episode, whining, "I’m in his mangy, musty chair."
Later the same day, he fired off a few bratty texts to the country singer, writing, "God I hate you...Haha...Haha...Are you getting these?...Stop being lame...You made at me?...Whatever idiot...I just farted in your chair...Because I hate you. ...Fine whatever. You suck eggs." Ultimately, Shelton got the last laugh, hitting Levine with a cold, "Unsubscribe."
