Meet the Press Minute: You should not ‘rule a person out’ over age, says Pres. Ford in 1975


Back in 1975, President Gerald Ford – who was 62 at the time – talked about the role age played in his own upcoming election. “I don't think you should rule a person out just because they are my particular age. On the other hand, I don't think you should rule out a younger person,” he said on Meet the Press.
