Meet the Press Minute: Feinstein calls VP consideration ‘major opening of the door’ in 1984


Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has asked to be temporarily replaced on the Judiciary Committee during her health-related absence. She first appeared on Meet the Press as the mayor of San Francisco back in 1984, when presidential candidate Walter Mondale was considering her as his running mate.
