Bresha Webb stars as Yvette on the new NBC comedy "Marlon."
Webb was most recently seen in the film "Ride Along 2," with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, and on television starring as Angie on NBC's comedy series "Truth Be Told," opposite Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tone Bell and Vanessa Lachey.
Webb attended the prestigious Baltimore School for the Arts where she was immersed in theater, dance and music. She received her BFA from the California Institute of the Arts and soon after began booking acting jobs. In 2007, Webb landed roles on Lifetime's "State of Mind," Fox's "K-Ville" and ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights," to name a few.
In 2008, she landed the role in "The American Mall" for MTV, a musical romantic comedy set at a mall that focused on the relationship between two young musicians; the project marked Webb's first time singing and dancing on television. That same year she co-starred on the hit series "ER" for NBC. For two seasons of the show, Webb worked opposite Angela Bassett and Mekhi Phifer portraying a strong-willed doctor.
Additional TV credits include "Love That Girl," "Hung," "Weeds," "Private Practice," "Raising the Bar" and a recurring role on "Grey's Anatomy" in 2014.
Webb has a big place in her heart for charity and loves to give back to the community. She has volunteered with the Black AIDS Institute and supports Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts and career development to low-income women in over 75 cities worldwide.
Webb currently lives in the Los Angeles area.
