Dayna Isom Johnson serves as a judge and Etsy trend expert on NBC's new series "Making It," hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman.

As part of her role on "Making It," Johnson is in constant pursuit of new and unique finds on Etsy. She will unearth the latest and greatest designs, discover up-and-coming Etsy shops and showcase sellers with exciting stories. Johnson is responsible for keeping her finger on the pulse of the hottest trends in the market and what new products are bubbling up. In addition to Johnson's role of tapping into trends across all things handmade and vintage, she also plays a significant role in discovering and demonstrating fresh DIY projects for all levels of crafters.

As an early team member to Etsy, Johnson has seen the site grow from its early days to now include more than 1.8 million active sellers. She has expertise across a multitude of categories of handmade and artisanal items - from home decor to fashion and accessories, and more. She loves providing tips to shoppers on how to find unique pieces that speak to their personal sense of style.

Johnson brings nearly 10 years of experience in communications, marketing and trend sourcing from the fashion and lifestyle industry and holds a B.S. in fashion merchandising management from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

In Johnson's spare time, you'll likely find her whipping up something yummy in the kitchen, creating an over-the-top DIY spread or in a badass boot camp class burning off the artisanal donut she just savored.
