Roslyn Ruff stars as Claire, Lincoln's live-in aide on NBC's thrilling new drama series "Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector."

A tragedy in her past has driven Claire to devote herself to helping others. With her blunt demeanor, she pushes Lincoln to look beyond his limitations and push past his fears.    

Obie and Lortel Award winner Ruff is an accomplished stage and screen actor with a resume ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary and political works. Her Broadway credits include "All the Way," "Romeo and Juliet" and "Fences," starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis. Most recently she starred off-Broadway in the 2019 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama "Fairview." She received Drama League nominations for Distinguished Performance for her roles in "X: Or, Betty Shabazz v. the Nation" (2018) and "The Piano Lesson" (2013), for which she also won the 2013 Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actress. In 2007, she won the Obie Award for her outstanding performance in August Wilson's "Seven Guitars."

Additional off-Broadway credits include "Death of the Last Blackman in the Whole Entire Word aka the Negro Book of the Dead," "Macbeth," "Familiar," "Scenes from a Marriage," "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter," "Things of Dry Hours" and "The Cherry Orchard."

Ruff's film credits include Oscar and Golden Globe Award-nominated "The Help," "Salt" with Angelina Jolie, "Life During Wartime" with Allison Janney and Jonathan Demme's "Rachel Getting Married."

Recent television credits include recurring roles on "A Gifted Man," "The Big C," "Madam Secretary," "Divorce" and the upcoming Epix series "Godfather of Harlem" with Forest Whitaker.  Guest-starring roles include "Pose," "The Code," "Law & Order: SVU," "Elementary" and "Masters of Sex."
