Marina's life forever changes when the hacienda she lives and works at, La Buenaventura, is attacked by bandits. With the help of her father's murderer, José Hernández, she manages to escape accompanied by her younger brother, Benjamín. Fate transforms her into Graciela Olmos, one of the first women who works as a bootlegger in Mexico and the owner of a famous brothel in the capital, one patronized by politicians, people in show business, artists and other personalities.
