"Grease" is the word, and NBC is looking for the next Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko in "You're the One That I Want," a talent competition series where America chose the two leads for a new Broadway production of "Grease" which opened in June 2007! The new production of "Grease" will be directed and choreographed by two-time Award-winner Kathleen Marshall ("The Pajama Game"). Paul Nicholas and David Ian Associates, Nederlander Presentations and Phoenix Productions will produce. Jim Jacobs, the co-creator of "Grease" along with Tony Award-winning director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall and renowned theatre producer David Ian are set as judges on "You're the One That I Want." "Grease" originated in Chicago and made its premiere at The Kinston Mines Theater in 1971 and went on to become on of the most successful Broadway musicals and motion pictures of all time. "Grease: You're the One That I Want" is produces by BBC Worldwide Productions. Al Edginton ("Last Comic Standing," "The Amazing Race") and Lou Stroller ("Tomb Raider," "The Rock," "Scarface") and Paul Telegdy, Senior Vice President, Programming and Production, BBC Worldwide, are the executive producers, Suzy Lamb ("How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?") is a co-executive producer.
