Actor Bio

Suzy Nakamura stars as Yolanda, a sycophant to support group leader, Lauren (Laura Benanti), in NBC's new comedy series "Go On." With her tightly-wound demeanor, Yolanda is a stellar doctor and an easy target within the group.

Born and raised in Chicago, Nakamura began her career in the touring company of The Second City, and later opened the first two shows at The Second City Detroit. After moving to Los Angeles, she began guest starring on television, eventually landing recurring roles on "The West Wing" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Nakamura has appeared in over 100 television episodes. Recent guest star credits include "In Plain Sight," "How I Met Your Mother," "Castle" and "Bones," as well as recurring roles on "Modern Family" and "Men of a Certain Age."

Her film credits include the notable independents "Timecode," Sundance Special Jury Prize winner "Treasure Island" and "Harmony and Me." She can be seen in the upcoming film "Free Samples" and Judd Apatow's "This Is 40."

In her spare time, she makes regular appearances in various improvisational and sketch comedy shows around Los Angeles.
