In NBC's new comedy series "Go On," John Cho stars as Stephen, Ryan King's (Matthew Perry) boss and closest friend. Stephen, an ill-equipped, less-than-evolved male, mandates therapy for the recently widowed Ryan, then struggles to provide support as Ryan learns to cope with his grief.

Cho first came into the spotlight in the 1999 breakthrough hit comedy "American Pie," in which he popularized the slang term "MILF," and recently reprised his role in the latest installment, "American Reunion." He achieved near-household name status starring as Harold Lee in the cult comedies "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" and "A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas."

He completed shooting the next installment of J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" franchise, reprising the role of Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu. He can also be seen in Len Wiseman's upcoming remake of the classic "Total Recall," as well as in "Identity Theft," starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy and directed by Seth Gordon, and "Get a Job," starring Miles Teller, Nick Braun and Bryan Cranston and directed by Dylan Kidd.

His additional film credits include the Weitz brothers' "American Dreamz," starring alongside Willem Dafoe and Hugh Grant, "Better Luck Tomorrow," "Pavilion of Women," Steven Soderbergh's "Solaris," and the Best Picture Oscar-winner, "American Beauty."

Cho starred as Agent Demetri Noh in FOX's drama series "FlashForward" and in the Weitz brothers' "Off Centre." In addition to numerous guest-starring roles, he recurred on the final season of "Kitchen Confidential."

Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Los Angeles, Cho began acting while studying English literature at the University of California, Berkeley. He toured across the country with his first show, "The Woman Warrior," an adaptation of the renowned memoir by Maxine Kingston. Other stage roles include Laertes in the Singapore Repertory Theater's production of "Hamlet," and a variety of shows for East West Players.

Cho currently resides in Los Angeles.
