Donald Faison plays Trey in the new NBC comedy "Extended Family."Donald Faison plays Trey in the new NBC comedy "Extended Family."

Faison previously starred in ABC's "Emergence" for ABC and TV Land's "The Exes," but is best known for his role on nine seasons of the Emmy Award-nominated comedy series "Scrubs," co-starring Zach Braff and created by Bill Lawrence.

Other TV credits include "The L Word: Generation Q," "Ray Donovan" and "Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G."

On the feature side, Faison can next be seen in the comedy "Home Delivery." Previous credits include "Game Over, Man!," "Little Evil," "Kick-Ass 2," "The Perfect Match," "Wish I Was Here," "Remember the Titans" and "Clueless."

Faison also has a strong voice-over career, co-starring in animated shows such as "Robot Chicken" and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." He most recently created and voices the lead role in the animated series "Alabama Jackson" on Adult Swim.

He also co-hosts a very popular podcast "Fake Doctors, Real Friends" for iHeartRadio with his great friend Zach Braff.
