Actor Bio

John Carroll Lynch stars as Will Hayes in NBC's compelling new drama "Do No Harm."

Lynch is a television regular. For six seasons, he played Drew's cross-dressing brother on ABC's "The Drew Carey Show." He also held regular recurring roles in "Carnivale," "Body of Proof," "K-Ville," "Big Love," "How to Make it in America," "From the Earth to the Moon" and David E. Kelley's "Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire."

On the big screen, Lynch had his breakthrough role playing Norm, Frances McDormand's duck-obsessed husband in the Coen brothers' Academy Award-winning "Fargo." With over 40 film credits, Lynch has been directed by Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, David Fincher, Miguel Arteta, Mick Jackson and Albert Brooks. He can currently be seen in the Stephen Frears film "Lay the Favorite" with Bruce Willis and Rebecca Hall.

Lynch splits his time between New York and Los Angeles with his wife, actress Brenda Wehle.
