Actor Bio

Steven Pasquale stars as Dr. Jason Cole and Ian Price, a modern day Jekyll and Hyde, in NBC's new drama "Do No Harm." Dr. Jason Cole is a well-respected neurosurgeon who is confident, charming, and compassionate. However, his alternate personality Ian Price is Jason's antithesis, a seductive menace to society.

Pasquale is best known for his starring role as fireman Sean Garrity during the seven-season run of the FX series "Rescue Me." His other television credits include his role in "Over/Under" for USA, "Coma" for A&E, "Marry Me" opposite Lucy Liu, a recurring role on HBO's Emmy- and Golden Globe Award-winning drama "Six Feet Under," and Sofia Coppola's "Platinum."

On the big screen, Pasquale can be seen in "Aurora Borealis," which premiered at the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival. He starred in "Alien vs. Predator: Requiem" and Jonathan Segal's "The Last Run."

A regular on the theater scene, he starred on Broadway in Neil LaBute's "Reasons to be Pretty," as well as "A Soldier's Play" and the Ahrens/Flaherty/McNally musical "A Man of No Importance." Pasquale also created the role of Fabrizia in Adam Guettel and Craig Lucas' Tony Award-winning "The Light in the Piazza."

Pasquale currently resides in Manhattan with his wife, Tony Award-winning actress Laura Benanti.
