Tate Donovan stars in NBC's midseason drama "Deception" as Edward Bowers, the eldest son of the Bowers clan and the chief financial officer of Bowers Pharmaceuticals. A product of the best schools and unimaginable access, Edward was a rising star before his life came to a screeching halt one fateful night 15 years ago.
Donovan can be seen currently in Ben Affleck's film "Argo," as well as in more than 25 films, including "Good Night, and Good Luck," "Memphis Belle," "Ethan Frome," "Love Potion No. 9," "Clean and Sober" and "Neal Cassady." He can also be heard as the title voice in Disney's animated feature "Hercules." His television credits include "Damages," "The OC" and "Friends." He has also appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning plays "Good People" with Frances McDormand, "Amy's View" with Judi Dench and "Picnic." He has worked off-Broadway with Kenny Lonergan in "Lobby Hero" and "The Medieval Play." His directing credits also include episode seven of "Deception" and several episodes of "Damages," "Glee," "Weeds," "Gossip Girl," "Nip/Tuck" and "The OC."
