Actor Bio

Michele Weaver stars as Luly Perry on NBC's "Council of Dads."

She is best known for her role on the romantic dramedy series "Love Is __," created by Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil. Set in the '90s and based on their relationship, the series tells the story of a power couple navigating the landscape of Hollywood.

On the big screen, Weaver most recently shot the thriller "Nighthawks." She also starred in "Illicit," with Vivica A. Fox; "Sister Code," with Amber Rose, Drew Sidora and Eva Marcille; and Syfy's "2 Lava 2 Lantula!" Her other television credits include "Switched at Birth" and "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life," among many others.

Weaver was first noticed as the star in two short films, including the 1960s musical "Diana Leigh" and the drama "The Daughters of Eve." She co-starred in "The Nicholas Brothers Tribute" and "Marilyn! The New Musical" at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, California. 

Weaver attended Pepperdine University and majored in theater acting and media production under a theater arts scholarship. She traveled with the theater program to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. 

Weaver, who is from Colorado, currently resides in Los Angeles.
