Brian Tee stars as Dr. Ethan Choi, a tireless yet impulsive doctor who found his calling in medicine while serving as a Navy flight surgeon, on the NBC drama "Chicago Med."
Tee recently starred as Shredder in the film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows." Other studio feature film leads include "Jurassic World," "The Wolverine," starring Hugh Jackman as well as "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," with Tee as the Drift King, aka D.K., directed by Justin Lin.
Internationally, Tee starred in "No Tears for the Dead," which was directed by acclaimed Korean director Jeong-beom Lee.
On the small screen, Tee starred as Liu Kang on the series "Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2" and was a regular on the series "Crash," based on the Academy Award-winning film. He also recurred on "Grimm" and "Hawaii Five-O." Other TV appearances include Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Burn Notice," "Bones," "Lie to Me," "Grey's Anatomy," "Entourage" and "The Unit."
He was the romantic lead opposite Anne Heche in the Hallmark movie "One Christmas Eve" and co-starred in Lifetime's "The Gabby Douglas Story" as inspirational coach Liang Chow.
A Los Angeles native of a mixture of multiple Asian descents, Tee is proficient in both Japanese and Korean and holds a bachelor's degree in dramatic arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
