Terry Crews stars as Sergeant Terry Jeffords on NBC's Golden Globe Award-winning comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."Crews is an action-movie hero, sitcom star, Old Spice pitchman, playable video game character, high-end furniture designer and human rights activist. His most recent film, "Sorry to Bother You," was released this summer and he was named one of Time magazine's 2017 Persons of the Year as one of the "Silence Breakers," speaking out against sexual harassment following the #MeToo movement.Crews' film roles include "White Chicks," "Idiocracy," "The Expendables" franchise and several Adam Sandler films, including "Sandy Wexler," "Blended" and "The Longest Yard." A lifelong artist, Crews added furniture designer to his resume with the fall 2017 release of his capsule collection with Bernhardt Design, which premiered at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York. Always curious and inventive, Crews got into gaming recently after building a PC from scratch with his son, Isaiah. After the Internet exploded with fans encouraging Crews to continue his computing journey, he got the attention of Microsoft, who created a playable character in their game "Crackdown 3."After several years in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles, Crews turned his talents to the performing arts, where his talent, hard work, character and dedication have made him one of the most sought-out and respected talents in the industry.Crews dedicates his free time to keeping physically fit - both in mind and body - while also working with nonprofit organization the Polaris Project, a leading organization in the global fight against human trafficking and modern-day slavery. For his dedication in helping the organization, he was awarded the UN Global Generation Award at the UN Headquarters in 2015.He is married to his wife, Rebecca. They have five children.
