Actor Bio

Emma Dumont stars as Emma Karn on the NBC series "Aquarius."

Dumont starred on "Bunheads" as Melanie and also guest starred on the series "Mind Games." On the film side, she was cast in "Nobody Walks" alongside Rosemarie DeWitt, John Krasinski and Olivia Thirlby, which premiered at Sundance.

Dumont's other credits include Los Angeles Film Festival favorite "Dear Lemon Lima" and the independent dramedy "True Adolescents," as well as a lead role in Academy Award-winner Stephen Gaghan's pilot "Metro." She also starred opposite Callie Thorne in the feature film "Thinspiration."

Dumont grew up in Seattle and began performing in community theater at age six. She is a trained ballerina who has studied at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Pacific Northwest Ballet School, Joffrey Ballet School and the American Ballet Theatre School.
