Angel City Chorale - Quarter Finals
Angel City Chorale is a welcoming, inclusive community musical ensemble that reflects the generational, racial, ethnic, cultural and musical diversity of Los Angeles. Artistic Director Sue Fink founded ACC in 1993 in the world-famous McCabe's Guitar Shop with just 18 singers. They are now over 160 voices strong. The supportive environment Sue has created accommodates singers with a wide range of musical training and experience to create a world-class choral sound.
The word most commonly associated with Angel City Chorale is JOY: the joy they experience in making beautiful music together and the joy they bring to their enthusiastic live audiences, to the numerous organizations who receive their community outreach programs, as well as to their millions of online fans. They like to think of themselves as a microcosm of America - ordinary people from every walk of life working together to make something much better than the sum of their parts.
Prior to forming Angel City Chorale, Sue Fink toured extensively with the Roger Wagner Chorale and studied conducting under Mr. Wagner at UCLA. She is also a well-known and much-loved vocal coach to both laymen and celebrities alike.
