Elena Kampouris stars as Maya Decker in NBC's new drama "American Odyssey."

Kampouris is a native of New York City who found her passion for acting while creating personal projects and starring in school and community plays. At age 12, she was recognized by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth. In 2012, Kampouris landed her first television appearance on the hit series "Gossip Girl."

She co-starred in the Jason Reitman feature film "Labor Day" and was later cast in his follow-up, "Men, Women and Children." She recently played Ellen Barkin's daughter in Tom McCarthy's "The Cobbler."

In her free time, Kampouris enjoys traveling the world, fencing and playing badminton.
