Omar Ghazaoui stars as Aslam on NBC's new drama "American Odyssey."

Ghazaoui is from Erfoud, a charming town in southeast Morocco. "American Odyssey" is Ghazaoui's first professional acting role, a part his English teacher encouraged him to audition for during the show's casting preparations in Morocco. He is thrilled to be a part of "American Odyssey," which has changed his life and encouraged him to express himself and take on new challenges.

Social by nature, Ghazaoui loves spending time with friends and classmates and participating in community events with his family.
