Adam Levy stars as Peter on NBC's drama series "A.D. The Bible Continues."

Levy is an English actor known for his roles in "Gladiator" and the 1998 British period drama "The Governess," alongside Minnie Driver. He recently starred opposite Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth in the feature film "Before I Go to Sleep."

Levy has an extensive theater background. He has performed in classics such as "Romeo and Juliet," "The Winter's Tale," "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "As You Like It." Levy starred as Bentivolio on the Italian TV series "Borgia," which is available on Netflix.
