About the Show
From the outside, their houses look normal. But inside, a family is struggling to keep ahead of the insignificant things that have taken over their lives. Christmas ornaments. Tinfoil. Newspaper. Bags of new clothing with tags still attached. Each person has latched onto something different and can't seem to let go. Depending on the situation, the help of a therapist, a professional organizer or a cleaning crew will be enlisted to guide the collectors through the cleanup process and give them the tools they need to keep their behavior in check. Each “hoarder” is given a clean start, with a follow-up weeks later to find out if they have been able to keep their compulsive collecting at bay.
