Takeoff Honored By 2022 AMAs Host Wayne Brady: 'We Have To Stop Senseless And Terrible Gun Violence'


Takeoff is being remembered at the 2022 American Music Awards. Wayne Brady, this year's AMA's host, paid special tribute to the late rapper. "We also wanted to pay our respects and show our gratitude to the artists who have left us with a beautiful legacy of their art. 1/3 of the ground-breaking hip-hop group Migos, we just lost. Tonight, we honor your memories. We have to stop this senseless and terrible gun violence," Wayne said. Takeoff died on November 1st after being shot in Houston.
