Angela Bassett and the late Tina Turner became incredibly close after Angela was cast to play the music icon in "What's Love Got To Do With It," the 1993 film based on her story. Angela was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress for her performance, and her and Tina’s friendship continued for the next 30 years until the singer’s death on May 24.
