Actor Bio

Christina Kirk stars as Lydia, who, as the boss and general manager of Wallflower Online Dating, makes everyone in the office uncomfortable on the NBC comedy "A to Z."


Born and raised in New York, Kirk attended Brown University. She has appeared on some of the most highly acclaimed shows on television, including "The Newsroom," "Girls," "The Good Wife" and "Law and Order," as well as cult hits "Delocated" and "Childrens Hospital," among many others. She will also be seen in WGN's "Manhattan."


On film, she most recently starred in Ira Sachs' "Love Is Strange" and in Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock."


Kirk began her career on the stage, having starred in "Well" on Broadway, "The Knickerbocker" at The Public and, most recently, the Broadway production of "Clybourne Park," which won the Tony Award for Best Play in 2012.


Kirk currently resides in both Los Angeles and New York City, is married and has one child.
