Stephen Dorff

Stephen Dorff is one of the most respected actors in Hollywood, having worked with some of the most influential directors in the business, with over 50 feature films. This summer he can be seen in the Michael Mann / Universal feature "Public Enemies." Starring opposite Johnny Depp, the film tells the story of the crime wave in the 1930s by notorious American gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd. Dorff plays Homer Van Meter, a gunman and right-hand man for John Dillinger.

He was recently seen in the feature film "Felon," which he produced and starred in opposite Val Kilmer. In the film, Dorff plays Wade, a man who unintentionally kills a burglar who broke into his house. Sent to trial, he accepts a deal proposed by the prosecutor to be sentenced to three years in prison. During the transportation, there is an incident in the bus where he is framed and sent to the maximum security wing under the command of a corrupt lieutenant.

His other credits include Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center," Robert Ludlum's "The Hades Factor," ".45" with Milla Jovovich, "Shadowboxer" with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Helen Mirren, and the Disney thriller "Cold Creek Manor" with Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone for director Mike Figgis. He starred in Scott Kalvert's street gang drama "Deuces Wild" for MGM, and as the champion of bad cinema in the John Waters comedy "Cecil B. Demented," co-starring Melanie Griffith. Dorff played the villain in "Blade," which won him an MTV Movie Award and a Blockbuster Award.

Additional credits include "Entropy," "Blood and Wine" with Jack Nicholson, and opposite Harvey Keitel in "City of Industry." He starred as the fifth Beatle, Stuart Sutcliffe, in Iain Softley's "Backbeat," and as the notorious Candy Darling in "I Shot Andy Warhol."

Chosen from over 2000 young men from around the world, he auditioned and won the coveted role of PK in John Avildsen's "The Power of One" in 1992. For his performance, he was awarded the ShoWest Male Star of Tomorrow Award from the National Association of Theater Owners.
