Mekia Cox
Mekia Cox stars as Lizzy Gilliam, Samantha's (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) easily frazzled handful of a sister in NBC's spy drama Undercovers.
Originally from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mekia moved to Orlando, Florida at age seven, and is now making a name for herself on both the big screen and in television. She appeared in the 2009 Michael Jackson documentary "This Is It" as a featured dancer, and will be seen in the upcoming "Untitled Marital Crisis Comedy," starring Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling.
On television, Mekia had a recurring role on "90210" and has been seen in guest-starring roles on such series as "Bones," "One Tree Hill," "Half & Half," and "CSI: NY."
With a background in musical theatre, Cox sings, and has recently started teaching herself to play the guitar. Her other interests include painting. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
