All times are local to the time zone/state listed above. If attempting to vote by toll-free telephone, by online (via NBC.com, the NBC Live app, the NBC app or Facebook), by Sprint SMS, or by iTunes outside of the voting window, your activity will not count as a vote. If attempting to vote by toll-free telephone or Sprint SMS, the vote window is determined by the time zone (as defined above) associated with the area code of the telephone number used when calling the toll-free telephone number or texting in to the 97979 short code. Message and data rates may apply.
In each voting period, limit ten (10) votes per artist per originating phone number via toll-free call, ten (10) votes per artist per email address online (via NBC.com, NBC Live app, NBC app, or Facebook – users must have a valid Facebook account) , ten (10) votes per artist per originating phone number via Sprint SMS (text) voting, and ten (10) votes per artist per valid iTunes Account by download of up to ten (10) copies of the artist's then-eligible song(s). For more information on "eligible songs" for iTunes voting, see Section 2.3 below. The Producer reserves the right to change the limit on the number of votes that may be made from each originating telephone number, email address or iTunes account, in the Producer's sole discretion.
2.1 Toll-free. To cast a vote using the toll-free phone numbers, simply dial the toll-free numbers displayed on screen at the end of the show relating to your artist of choice (For example, for the April 2nd and April 9th shows, call 1-866-U LOVE-01 /1-866-856-8301 for Artist 1; For the April 16th, April 23rd, April 30th, and May 7th shows, call 1-855- VOICE-01/ 1-855-804-2301 for Artist 1). If you are calling during your valid vote window, you will hear a message thanking you for your vote. There is no cost for voting via the toll-free number if you are calling from a landline. If you are calling from a cell phone, airtime and applicable roaming charges will apply. You may only vote up to 10 times per artist per originating telephone number during each voting period. Any calls made after your 10th call for an artist will NOT be counted, regardless of the fact that the audio message will still thank you for your vote. Outside of active voting windows, you will hear a busy signal or local carrier error message, and your call will not count as a vote. A vote window is determined by the time zone (as defined above) applicable to your phone area code. Calls from payphones will be blocked, so to vote, use a standard landline or cell phone instead.
Power dialing or block voting occurs when individuals unfairly influence the outcome of the voting system by generating significant blocks of votes using technical enhancements. Producer will have in place monitoring procedures designed to prevent this type of occurrence on The Voice. If Producer believes that power-dialing or block voting attempts were made, it reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove these votes from the final tally.
2.2 Online voting. If you are 13 years of age or older, you may also vote on NBC.com, through the NBC Live app, through the NBC app or via Facebook (if you have a valid Facebook account), up to 10 times per artist per email address during each voting period. Log on to NBC.com (using your email address or your Facebook account), or download and open the NBC Live app or NBC app. If you wish to vote via Facebook, log into your account and go to the official Voice Facebook page where you'll find the Voice voting application. Note that the online voting method, with the 10 vote per artist limit, includes voting via NBC.com, the NBC Live app, the NBC app and Facebook; in other words, you can vote 10 times per artist, total, using some or all of these forms of online voting.
Follow the links to vote, and enter the registration details. To register, you will need to provide your e-mail address, confirm you are 13 years of age or older, and confirm your acceptance of the terms and conditions. After you have registered, enter your vote choice where prompted. You may vote online up to 10 times per artist per email address during the active online vote window. Any online vote attempts above 10 per artist per e-mail address will not be counted as valid, whether the votes occurred on NBC.com, the NBC Live app, the NBC app or Facebook. Information collected from entrants is subject to the NBCUniversal Privacy Policy (www.nbc.com).
2.3 iTunes voting. Each song that an artist performs in competition during an episode will be available for purchase via iTunes before, during, or after each episode airs (the "Eligible Song(s)"). To vote for an artist, you must have a valid iTunes account (see iTunes terms of service for more information) to purchase the Eligible Song via iTunes. To vote for an artist during an episode's voting period, click to download the Eligible Song(s) he or she performed in that episode. Each such purchase will count as one vote for that artist. A maximum of ten (10) downloads of an Eligible Song per artist during the voting period for that episode will count as votes for the artist who performed it. Downloading a song that the artist performed during a prior episode, or any song identified on air as ineligible for the vote or not part of the competition (an "ineligible song") does NOT count as a vote.
For more information on how to vote using each voting method, please refer to the FAQs section on NBC.com.
2.4 Sprint SMS/Text message voting. In order to vote via text, you must:
- Provide your own wireless device capable of 2-way messaging and
- Be a Sprint wireless service subscriber with text messaging service.
To vote via text, send the keyword relating to your artist of choice, as shown on the weekly performance episode of "The Voice" to the short code 97979. For example, send the keyword 1 to 97979 for artist 1 or send the keyword 2 to 97979 for artist 2. Message and data rates may apply. To cancel, text STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, END or UNSUBSCRIBE to 97979 relating to The Voice. To get help with voting by SMS, Text HELP to 97979 relating to The Voice, call Telescope customer service at 1-888-782-2180, or email info@telescope.tv. You will receive a confirmation text message on the first valid vote per artist. Only votes received in a valid vote window (a vote window is determined by the time zone as defined above) applicable to your cellular phone area code will be counted. If you send a text message vote outside of the valid vote window, you'll get a text message back letting you know that voting is closed. You may vote up to ten (10) times per artist per originating phone number via Sprint SMS text messaging. Any vote attempts above 10 per artist will not be counted as valid. Message and Data Rates May Apply.
3.1. Toll-free telephone voting. Voting using the toll-free telephone numbers is free from landline telephones. If you are calling from a cell phone, airtime and applicable roaming charges will apply. If you attempt to vote more than 10 times per artist from the same phone number, you will continue to hear the "Thanks for voting" message, although your votes above 10 for any artist will not count. Moreover, if you call from a cell phone, you will continue to be charged normal airtime and any applicable roaming charges.
3.2. Online voting. Online voting (via nbc.com, the NBC Live app, the NBC app, or Facebook) is subject to standard access charges.
3.3. iTunes voting. Individuals voting by means of iTunes will be charged the song download price and any applicable taxes for every purchase, whether or not it counts as a vote. Review iTunes terms of service for more information.
3.4. Sprint SMS voting. Voting on "The Voice" via text message is available to Sprint subscribers only. Message and Data rates may apply. If you have a text messaging plan, the text messages you send and receive will count toward your text messaging plan. If you exceed your text message plan, then standard text message rates will apply to any text messages sent or received outside of the allotted text messages that are covered under your plan. If you do not have a text messaging plan, standard text message rates will apply to any text messages sent or received. If you have an unlimited text messaging plan, then you will not incur any additional charges when texting to vote. Please consult your wireless contract or service guide regarding how much you will be charged for your standard rate text messages.
