My brain is still mush from THE AWESOME of last night, so let's make this quick and painless before nonsense starts spewing from my head...well, more than usual at least.
First, HOORAY FOR OUR AMAZING V-ROOM!!!! It's a social media mecca in there. I'm so excited to finally share all of your inspired, fantastic, and sometimes hysterical tweets and Facebook posts with the rest of television universe. We've come a long way from just asking you to check out a website, huh?
I walked into my new digs just before the show, and Team Christina and Team Blake were already there. Let me tell you...there were NERVES. Up till this moment, all our artists were having fun, joking around, and really enjoying their time here. But right before the show, I think it kicked in what was actually about to happen. The live audience awakened them to the massiveness of this event, and EVERYONE put on their game faces.
Raquel sat at one of the tables, singing "Blow" over and over and over again. Frenchie had a look on her face like she might punch someone if they messed with her concentration. And Beverly looked stunned, like she couldn't believe it was actually time to perform for millions of people on live television.
Dia mentioned that she might pee her pants. Lily was stressed because her in-ear monitors were faulty during an earlier rehearsal. Our young Xenia seemed like the only one without the performance on her mind, but then again, when you're as quiet and shy as she is, it's hard to tell what's on her mind anyway.
And the boys? Well, Jared and Patrick had other things to think about. Like how to get their Samsung GalaxyTab to bring up their Twitter and Facebook accounts. They may be fantastic singers, but their tech skills? Those could use a little help.
