Live Show Team Assessments

Team Adam - The Powerhouse
Let's be honest. We all know Adam has some ringers on his team. Between Javier and Jeff, he has BOTH artists that all 4 coaches wanted. Not to mention Casey, who blew us away in the Battles, and Devon, who came from out of nowhere! I think it's safe to say that this is the team to beat. But just like my favorite baseball team growing up (the Yankees), having all the star players doesn't mean you win the Series. Sometimes, it doesn't even mean you make the playoffs. Sigh...

Team Christina - The Showstopper
I don't think it's any surprise that Christina ended up with 4 brassy, bold women. While each one has her own supremely unique style, it can't be denied that all 4 of these women are here to leave a mark. Beverly is the obvious stand out with her rocker style as compared to the soul/pop stylings of Frenchie, Raquel, and Lily, and that could be what sends her over the top. Or it could be the reason she goes home early. Only time will tell...

Team Cee Lo - The Loose Cannon
I probably should have guessed that Cee Lo would acquire the 4 most eclectic artists on this show.Vicci , Nakia, Curtis, and the Thompson sisters could not be more different from each other, which is why we won't know what to expect from this team each week. Regardless of who goes home at what time, this is the team that will never get stale, and that could mean it breeds a champion at the end of this show.

Team Blake - The Dark Horse
As we have learned from almost every competition show to date, there's something to be said for not creating a buzz early on, and I think that's the strength of Team Blake. All 4 of these artists are extremely talented, but none of them have made any waves yet. While both Patrick and Jared come off as charming gentlemen, Dia and Xenia have both been called 'shy' multiple times on the show. There's not a lot of drama here so attention will most likely fall on other teams, allowing one of Blake's artists to fly under the radar until it's time to hit big and go for the gold.
