Our Cut 8 Repaired!!

Since we've said goodbye to 8 amazing artists so far, I've decided to take a shot at making my OWN battle pairings, complete with song choices, for those who had to leave. Maybe next season, I could be a coach too! Or...you know...a V-Correspondent...

TJE AND NIKI - "No Air" Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown

Smooth, buttery emotion. That's what I get from these 2. And "No Air" is a sweet, sad love song that I think would fit them both perfectly.

ELENOWEN AND ANGELA - "Teach Your Children" Crosby, Stills, and Nash

These 3 will make such a yummy, warm, and fuzzy trio with brilliant harmonies, so what better than a song written from the start with 3 voices in mind?

TARRALYN AND TYLER - "Telephone" Lady Gaga and Beyonce

This is my wild card. Tarralyn is a born powerhouse and I think the only way someone wouldn't get lost singing with her is if they have their own unique style...which is EXACTLY what Tyler has...and I think Telephone is just bizarre enough to make this duet work. I could be crazy: this is a combo that could crash and burn just as easily as it could astound, but I'm hoping it would be the latter.

JUSTIN AND TIM - "Under Pressure" Queen and David Bowie

They were roommates and songwriters together, so it was no question to pair up these two superstar guys.  And what better song than the ultimate male duo - Freddie Mercury and David Bowie.  I see Justin tackling Bowie while Tim can channel Mercury in a heartbeat.  Plus, I have no doubt that these boys would dress the part as well as singing the hell out of is.  The result?  Sheer epicness.
