My name is ALyX. I started singing when I was itty bitty...seriously. It was just something I naturally had a passion for. No one made me sing, no one told me to sing, I just did it. I started out singing songs by Patsy Cline and Britney Spears.
Another childhood inspiration was the movie Selena. At age 8 I would always sing Blue Moon, just like Selena did in the movie when she was younger! I am probably singing Blue Moon in this photo here [picture w/ orange dress and play kitchen].
I was constantly imitating Britney Spears, she is my idol. I love you Britney Spears :D!!! But yeah, so in her Dream Within a Dream Tour she wore this white outfit, so I made my mom get me these little white Gap boy shorts and a white tank top and I would sing just like Britney Spears with the moves and everything. I always looked up to her. I still do. Britney Spears you ROCK! [Hollywood Walk of Fame Britney Spears picture]
Anyway, I’m from Dallas, Texas! I’ve lived there my whole life and I really do love home. I am the oldest of four children and I have a great supportive family who I love dearly! I also have a son, Henri. Actually he’s my dog but I don’t consider him an animal or “pet”. He’s more like my bitty baby. [Picture of HinPin the MinPin]
As far as my passions go, besides music (of course!), I have a MAYJAAH passion for style, makeup and also knowledge. Every time I see a cool piece, I say, LU-HUVE. Great style is timeless! Every time I see cool make-up I say OMG, I HAVE TO GET THIS...I have a serious problem. I just LOVE the tools and pigments! The artistry of the application is beautiful! I’m my friends make-up go to when they have a special occasion or when they have a hawt date, and you know, they have to score points! Every time I turn on the T.V. ...HISTORY CHANNEL, basically, documentaries are my favourite movies. Knowledge is the key. I’m always on the pursuit of influential style, beautiful makeup, affecting knowledge and enduring music.
Peace and Love,
