As the front man of seven-time Grammy award-nominated band Maroon 5, Adam Levine has left an indelible mark on popular music. The group's songs have gone gold and platinum in more than 35 countries, and they've sold more than 3 million concert tickets worldwide. Their latest No. 1 smash, "Moves Like Jagger," (featuring Adam's fellow coach Christina Aguilera) dominated multiple charts this past summer.

As the front man of Grammy Award-winning recording artist Maroon 5, Levine has left an indelible mark on popular music. The primary songwriter of the band and a guitar player, Levine's talents give Maroon 5 their signature sound. His heartfelt ballads and pop anthems have become part of the fabric of this decade's music scene. p>
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Levine first connected with Maroon 5 band members Jesse Carmichael and Mickey Madden while attending Brentwood School in Los Angeles. The band has gone on to have massive critical and commercial success worldwide with their releases going gold and platinum in over 35 countries around the world. Capturing their first of three Grammys as Best New Artist of 2005, Maroon 5 won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock/R&B sound they introduced on their debut album, "Songs About Jane." They followed up with the double-platinum album, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long," which included hits such as "Makes Me Wonder" and "If I Never See Your Face Again." p>
In September 2010, the band released their third studio album, "Hands All Over." "Misery," the debut single off the album received a Grammy nomination in the category of Best Pop Performance by a duo or group with vocals. The nod marked the group's seventh Grammy nomination overall and fourth in that category. Most recently, Maroon 5's smash song "Moves Like Jagger" climbed to the No. 1 spot on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts and also claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. p>
With the single's success on the Hot 100 chart, Levine became the first artist in the chart's 53-year history to reach No. 1 as part of a group and to enter the Top 10 at the same time as a soloist, since he is also featured on Gym Class Heroes' hit "Stereo Hearts." p>
Levine has also collaborated with various musical acts including Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Natasha Bedingfield, Slash and K'naan. Levine has also made several appearances on television, including NBC's "Saturday Night Live," "30 Rock" and "Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars." p>
