Meeting Blake for the first time was sooooo crazy. He brought his advisor who ended up being Reba and that was a HUGE surprise! I still can't believe we got to be coached by her. Well.. by either of them really! This is insane!!! They are such talented, nice people and it's been such a blessing to work with them! So... for the battles I was paired up with my very good friend Sara!! It was so much fun working with her, but i hated the fact that only one of us got to go through D; She is such a great friend and an amazing, beautiful singer! No matter what happens I hope we stay good friends! We had to sing stand by you and we did not expect that at all. Neither of us really knew the song and we struggled to get the hang of it! It definitely was not my style of song but we had to work hard and make it our own! So many lessons were learned.. ha! Especially having the chairs facing us this time.. it was the scariest thing ever! I was pretty upset about letting the nerves get to me. I'm sad that i'm not proud of my performance but I just have to work a lot harder now to shed my nerves. I feel extremely grateful to have gotten another opportunity to really do great!!
