The youngest of five children, Serabee found her musical chops as a child, performing in her preacher father's tent revivals. The multi-talented singer can also play drums, keyboard and guitar and is a successful songwriter. She penned "Crazy Chick," a number one hit in Europe, for Charlotte Church. heard I had made it through the blind auditions?
I had no cell phone to call my family.
My credit cards were being declined at the front desk, so I had no open
land line. I was crying and shaking. I wanted my Momma for the first
time since I was a young girl.
Crazy! I did as I was told and went to my room.
I opened the door and there stood Frenchie Davis with her big smile, telling me congratulations roommate!
She was so happy to be there.
We had made it past the Blinds and were roommates for at least one night.
She was so excited to share a room with me. I will always be grateful.

I finally got to sneak away in a cab to check on mom.
After I left Good Samaritan and knew my Mom was okay I was ready to get some much needed sleep. I cabbed it back, put on my PJ's and closed my eyes...but Frenchie and I were too excited to sleep, so we talked all night!
