After the Blind auditions, I was so emotional, sleepy, exhausted,
worried about my mom and wondering how she was doing and if she had
heard I had made it through the blind auditions?
I had no cell phone to call my family.
My credit cards were being declined at the front desk, so I had no open land line. I was crying and shaking. I wanted my Momma for the first time since I was a young girl.
Crazy! I did as I was told and went to my room.
I opened the door and there stood Frenchie Davis with her big smile, telling me congratulations roommate!

She was so happy to be there.
We had made it past the Blinds and were roommates for at least one night.
She was so excited to share a room with me. She helped me get in touch with my family, because she's smart like that. LOL
She was a comfort in some strange way. I will always be grateful.
I finally got to sneak away in a cab to check on mom.
After I left Good Samaritan and knew my Mom was okay I was ready to get some much needed sleep. I cabbed it back, put on my PJ's and closed my eyes...but Frenchie and I were too excited to sleep, so we talked all night!
