Arrival in Hollywood:: It was late at night when I arrived, we loaded up in our white vans and headed for the hotel. I was shocked at the amount of contestants from Nashville; I'm guessing somewhere near 25 of us. From the visit by producers to my house to tell me the surprise until the moment the tapings, it was all a blur. I was still confused at what all of this was going to be. Most of the time was spent waiting to go wait somewhere else. I was excited, but didn't know why. I tried to just soak in everything and everyone around me. I latched on to a few contestants and bonded with my new 'family' of cast and crew.
