What does the Italian in "Because We Believe" mean?

Well I'm glad you asked! 

I was so excited to sing this song (written by David Foster, Andrea Bocelli and Amy Foster) because it says and showcases everything I feel I'm on The Voice representing.  I knew it might be risky to sing in Italian because most people don't speak it (right, Blake?!  Ahem...) but no one can deny how beautiful the melody is.  Lyrically I love it because I LOVE singing in Italian and the translation is so pertinent to this moment for me on the show.  

The opening Italian lines mean:

"Guarda fuori e'gia'mattina

Look outside: its morning

Questo e'un giorno che ricorderai

This is a day you'll remember

Alzati in fretta e vai

Hurry, get up and go

C'č chi crede in te

There are those who believe in you

Non ti arrendere

Don't give up"

I couldn't help but think about each of those words and feel them.  This IS a day I'm GOING TO REMEMBER and my family is here BELIEVING IN ME.  DON'T GIVE UP!

Then the chorus comes in saying:

"Like stars across the sky
E per avvincere
And in order to shine
Tu dovrai vincere

You will have to win
We were born to shine
All of us here because we believe"

WHAT?!  We can shine like stars if we just BELIEVE IN OURSELVES?!  No wonder I friggin' cried.   Hahaha.  Then the final high note says:

"E allora vincerai 

And then, you will win!"

And, believe me...I felt like I'd won in that moment.  It was truly special/crazy/insane/appropriate.
