FASHION DISTRICT DAY! YAYYY! We were allowed out today. Yessssssssss. Finally released and were allowed to go shopping, but of course with a curfew on that. We had to be back by 6:30 p.m, but of course Cherie, Lily, Angela, and myself called a cab who could not take directions and we were..... dun, dun, dun, late. It was all good though, we had a meeting about five minutes after we arrived so it was full on rush the whole day.
Down in fashion district we couldn't find the alley, which I guess is the good place to shop, so we had the cab just drop us off anywhere. Then to our surprise all the shops were closing and we had about thirty minutes to hit every store we wanted to, and obviously we just weren't fast enough. In this one store though, there was this man who kept yelling at me to hurry up when I was changing (he was the store owner and wanted me to buy something or get out), Lily was taken his meanness and told him to be nice to me. Isn't that sweet? I wish I was as tough as her.
Getting a cab on our way home turned out to be disastrous and we were stuck waiting in the cold at a Starbucks about to be late on our first day that we were allowed out. After the Starbucks started closing down around us, we had to book it and physically search the streets for a cab to get us home. At this time, we were all pretty sure we were gonna be late and would have to face the wrath of Valerie, which she turned out to not even notice we were late. So, we kept walking the streets with our coffees, and I had an ice coffee (bad idea when it's freezing outside f.y.i) and we ran into this Shepard dog with the prettiest eyes. SOOO cute! (:
