Whoopi Goldberg is one of a few in Hollywood who can lay claim to an EGOT - an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award. The actress and comedian first gained acclaim in 1985 when she was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for The Color Purple and the recording of her one-woman show, Whoopi Goldberg: Direct from Broadway, earned her a Grammy Award. Five years later, Goldberg was named Best Supporting Actress for her role in Ghost and went on to star in Made in America, Sister Act, How Stella Got Her Grove Back and Girl, Interrupted. Since 2007, the star has served as a co-host on ABC's The View, earning two Daytime Emmy Awards. Goldberg recently collaborated on a line of medical marijuana products called Whoopi & Maya. On November 1, her line of ugly Christmas sweaters will debut at Lord & Taylor.
